India’s energy mix will be substantially complemented by renewable energy: Dharmendra Pradhan

Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has said that India is going to generate around 175 Gigawatt of energy from renewable sources, such as solar, wind, and bio-CNG.

He added that in the near future, India’s energy mix will be substantially complemented by renewable energy.

Concluding his three-day visit to the UAE, Mr Pradhan said India was a leading player in the renewable energy movement and has positioned itself in this arena in a short span of time. He said India-UAE relationship is at its peak.
