Nehru in Kashmir

A frequent visitor to Kashmir since deepening of his friendship with Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah in late 1930s, Jawaharlal Nehru continued to visit Kashmir even after imprisoning him in 1953. In this picture, in fore-lawns of Grand Palace, also seen with him are the Prime Minister Bakshi Ghulam Mohammad, Sadr-e-Reyasat Karan Singh and Indira Gandhi, among other.
